Thursday September 9
Pray for Marilyn and Jo as they plan and prepare for the children’s and youth discipleship program. Pray that they would have the staffing that is needed for these areas. Pray, too, for insight into the needs of both the children and the youth.
Please continue to pray for those recovering from illness – John Dillon’s mother, Ron Fairbanks’ mother, Beverly Holtzman’s father and Margaret Boersma’s sister. Pray that the hand of God would be with each one and that it would please Him to bring each to wholeness.
Wednesday September 8
Pray for Jen Chrystman in Manila. She is driving a vehicle that is not reliable. Pray that it will behave as they are on a 3 day retreat to pray and re-focus their efforts on evangelism and discipleship. Pray for good relationships.
Jen says “Spiritual protection is one of those thingies we can’t afford to neglect!”
Pray for group leaders and committee leaders as they consider what God has in mind for the coming year.
Tuesday September 7
Pray for the move of Women’s College Hospital to Sunnybrook Hospital on Sunday, Sept.12. Pray for Sandra Howes as she is involved with this move.
Pray for our students as they return to school this week. Pray that they would develop an enthusiasm for learning that will benefit them throughout their school years. And pray too, that they would develop strong friendships that will continue as meaningful relationships.
Pray for our teachers. Pray that they would teach with love and patience and that their love of learning would infect their students.
Friday September 3
Please pray for Faith Holwyn and her colleagues as they minister in Colombia. Pray that they will be wise about how much they can do and sense where God is leading them. Pray also for health and rest in a demanding schedule. And pray for their protection – especially in one area that is considered quite dangerous.
Pray for Faith and Colette as they give leadership to Groups of Hope Sessions.
Thursday September 2
As we pray today, let’s give thanks for answered prayer – for our families and homes, for healing that has taken place, for our jobs, for those who serve in other countries, for our country, and others you may think of.
Wednesday September 1
Pray for those overseeing the final details of the renovation. Pray that the documentation that is needed will be available on time.
Pray for those who have been on holiday and are looking forward to the new season. Pray especially for those who are out of work and looking for jobs. Pray that there will be an opening for them that will suit their skills
and give them a positive degree of satisfaction.
Tuesday August 31
Pray for the work of Youth Unlimited. Pray especially for Scott Moore as he gives leadership in the North York area.
